Purple heather
this quilt was just recently finished for my sister the object was to use just fabrics from my stash and except for the border and backing I did use every piece of purple I had. This quilt was made for a queen size bed and is 100" wide by 120" long.

My Day
I spent the day with one of my daughters and three of my grandchildren. After getting the house in order and with the help of my daughter I was able to get three of the christmas quilt tops all layered and basted. I will work on getting them quilted later this evening. Now I am cooking dinner then have homework to get finished up.

Random Thoughts
As Christmas is fast appraoching I have decided to make my grandchildren each a new quilt for their christmas presents this year. This is a daunting task because while I have four of the tops done I still have to baste and quilt them but I have to figure out what desigs to make for the rest of the grandchildren. Hopefully I will get this huge project done in time. Wish me luck!
